This section of the site is organised on either the watch maker and / or the movement makers.

There are many watch makers here who only used bought-in electric movements: Avia, Clinton, Gruen, Modaine, Omega, Tissot, etc are just a few.

Likewise, there are a few movement makers whose names rarely appeared on any dials: ESA and Landeron.

And then there are those companies that both made watches and movements: Bulova, Hamilton, LIP and Timex.
