Surely one of the strangest of electronic watches --- the Derby Swissonic featuring an ESA 9176 movement. It's a kind of jump-hour watch with the balance on the end of the cylinder assembly. These watches were marketed by Jaz and are very difficult to find in working condition today.

The markings on this particular Jaz-Derby are intriguing: "B.H.I. Ebauches S.A. 1975". Clearly, "Ebauches S.A." is ESA and 1975 is when this particular watch was marketed but the "B.H.I." is more of a mystery. Could it be the "British Horological Institute"?
