Croton Watch Company Inc. was established in the year 1878 and since then, the family has continuously run the business out of New Jersey, USA. More than 128 years old, the company is known worldwide for their classical watches.

As far as electric watches are concerned, they have used both the West German PUW movements and the Swiss ESA Dynotrons. The first two photographs show a PUW 1000 based watch:

This second Croton is a Swissonic branded watch and houses the ESA 9158.
